WELL! There's a silver lining to every hurricane cloud!
Here's the scenario- Mazz, Mumsy and I are on our way to have a dream holiday in Orlando, Florida. The flights we'd booked were to go to Atlanta, Georgia, and then catch a connecting flight to Orlando. Well, 9am today we got on the flight to Atlanta... having found out at 2am that our onward connection is probably cancelled. Mother got us a last-minute reservation at the Regency Hyatt, where lo and behold, there are *TWO* conventions- a Star Wars and this Dragon-Con! All these AMAZING costumes, I feel terribly under-dressed. If only we'd known!
Anyway, we're on to Orlando 1st thing sunday morning. In the meantime, we're people, elf, storm trooper, pirate, and nerd watching. It's fascinating!

Yes... Dragon Con is known for some awsome costumes! Generally from the sci-fi/fantasy genres, but you could pretty much go in anything and still fit right in!
I got a call night before last from RB, and he said he'd get in contact with me (hopefully) on Monday just to check in with us here in VA.
