Fraiday Evening, the worst thing in the world happened @ 9 pm. Belle was assaulted by a bobcat. Injured she returned bleeding to her babies.
Today, still hurt, the bobcat found her. I was on my way out to feed the older kitties, when I noticed the Bobcat in the nest with Belle Screaming, and howling.
I grabbed a led pipe and smacked the bobcat twice. it dropped the kitten it was shaking in it's jaws and turned to attack me.
I screamed and ran, and it gave chase. My father hearing my shouts came running wth his shot gun and scared it off. Not killing the cat, but making it run.
I returned to the kittens, to find three dead, and one very badly mauled Belle, and poor dear Lucky panting and bleeding somthing horribble.
Lucky is currently laying in a basket, huddled in Gaauze. He is 2 weeks old, and very much close to death.
belle is only slightly better.
She is terribly Depressed over her babies, and does not undersatnd why Lucky has been taken from her.
She is scratched, but not in danger of dying. Lucky may die.
We mourn, Aurthur, Tigira, and, Munkustrap. They are quite dead.
Pray for Belle's last child, and for Belle. PLEASE, I beg you!

well we took Belle to The vet. she had become weaker and weaker over the days, and turns out she was smacked about harder than we thought. apparantly she put up quite the fight.
She will pull through, but is very tired and sore.
Lucky, well is VERY Lucky!
At 12pm sunday afternoon, Lucky stopped moving and breathing.
My mom who is a nurse had just come home from her weekend at the ER. she hadn't been home in 2 days, and had been stuck sleeping on a hospitol cot, when she could. It was a busy weekend. sadly.
Well she grabbed lucky and rushed into the back bedroom.
me in a state of grief tried to call my friends in VA beach for verbal comfort. they were not home, so i left a message on their machine.
"Lucky is dead..."
I jumped the gun.
almost an hour later mom reappeared with a basket and her car keys. Then off somewhere she drove.
Today at 3pm we took Belle to the Vet, and Guess who we found there as well!
LUCKY!
and he is FINE!
the lady showed me how to bottle feed him, and I have to use a warm cloth to pet his belly while he eats. This is to help him pee, and stuff.
i have to feed him 6 times a day, and for an hour at night. ^.^& No wonder Belle was so exauhsted.
Rolls up sleeves.
The worst isn't over yet! But We are surviving!

Lucky Update:
Today he purred.
He never did that before, not when I talked to him or fed him anyway. but as he was nursing his bottle, he fell asleep in my hands, and then started purring.
I melted, positively melted. I was so excited, happy, and well I had that floaty, I feel so special feeling all day. Whee...
And to think today started off with burnt cookies. "WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE"
Lucky is also walking now. And Belle is happily nursing 3 new adopted orphans.
Long story short, we aquired 3 more kittens this past week. Why is it we suddenly are the place to gather up sick orphan kittens? I will never know. But I really am feeling that perhaps I should have become a vet, or at least open a cat house.
they are 3 weeks old, and were sick when found. Now they are fat, over-fed, spoiled, and getting better. They actually play too rough for Lucky, and being sick they are quarentined to the green house.
I already have some people lined up to adopt them. Man, I am so blessed.
