Okay, here's a little game that anyone can play.
Once a day (assuming this thread doesn't vanish), I (or the first person who gets here) will post a phrase. Any phrase you like, though preferably short.
Then you have to try and use that phrase at some point in the day, but coherently in a conversation or something (slip it in sneakily!), and then come back here and write how you used it.
So, rules in brief:
- You must use the phrase posted.
- If used, you must post a transcript/good description of the conversation involved (to the best of your memory )
- NO LIMIT on the amount of times you can use the phrase.
- When a new phrase is posted, that is the ACTIVE phrase i.e no previous phrases can be attempted forthwith.
- Only ONE phrase-challenge allowed per day.
- ANYONE can post a new phrase here, but only ONE per day allowed. I.E If a new phrase has already been suggested, then no more can be added, and we all have to run with it.
- ABSOLUTELY NO vulgar/obscene/racist/sexist/anythingelse-ist remarks/phrases.
- The "New Day" starts at midnight (British time).
