I know this is normally a light hearted board... but I really need to say this...
Today the oldest cat in our house, Cali, was put down. She lived a long life of 13 years, and all in all, I know it was the best for her. She's been in my mother's and my house since I was three.
I hope she enjoys Heavyside Layer.

Aww, that's so sad. My own cat I've had for 14 years (she actually turns 14 this month) is slowing down, although luckily she is still reletively healthy (only some arthiritis in her back). I'm glad she lived a long, happy life. That was the best thing you could have ever done for her

I'm sorry to hear that! I know how hard it is to lose the cat whohas been there all through your childhood. We have two very elderly cats, 21 and 19, and I'm not expecting them to live through the winter... I'll miss Woo and Kitty terribly when they're gone!

Aw, this is sad, but as you said, she's had a long life, and since she was very old, it's probably been best for her...

I'm so sorry too. *Big hugs* It was the best thing for her, though I know you don't feel any better.
