Belle, I mentioned Trax in my first post Not very, as there is a giant hole in the bridge the whole way through the show ;D I just thought he should be added, as he IS a character in the show, whether people think he's necessary or not. Trax: Authoritive, athletic (he'd have to be), business-oriented, and.... marshal-y? Trax is there - sure - but is he a CHARACTER or just a stunt skater? The only occasion I can think of him interacting with everyone else onstage was one point on the UK tour when the Nationals were bullying him in the background.... The race marshalls in London had nicknames, bestowed by Thingywot - they were Derek and Angus. I guess they decided they needed to go off, re-invent themselves, and went on a inline training course, then re-named themselves Trax 1 and 2!!! But they're still Derek and Angus at heart...

Of course he's a character.
The names Derek and Angus never became official, did they?
The Trax one and two thing is a little strange. I've only ever seen one Trax, which I like much better. Since we have only one Rocky, I think it makes plenty of sense to have one Trax.

We're only gonna put one Rocky in the casting - I don't think we have enough active members to fill three Rockies and three Hoppers, one of each should make everyone happy?
There's more to being a character in theatre than just doing stuff onstage - it's all the interaction with the others that defines who the character is. Trax doesn't interact much with anyone - bar, as I mentioned, this time in the UK tour when he was being bullied by the Nationals!
I prefer it with no Traxes, myself - as I've never been unsatisfied with the death-defying stunts performed by the quad skaters in the show! It seems disrespectful to me to tell these guys "yeah, you're not impressive enough. We're gonna get in bladers". But if you're gonna have traxes - in Bochum at least it looks better with two - symmetrical and fills up the space better!
BUT - for this forum casting - I think we will have one Rocky, one Hopper, one Trax.

Since when is Starlight a very realistic show?

It has an internal logic. Train races do happen - rarely - in the real world, and there must be something like referees for them.
