What IS the current plan if it rains? Is there any shelter at the park? If so we could always take cover...I don't know, I don't know Hyde Park well enough... Belle? What is the plan if it rains?... EDIT: I hate to sound like the voice of doom, but... "Persistent rain, often heavy, for the morning and feeling cool in strong winds. Brighter skies, with some sunshine, extending north later but staying breezy with further showers threatening southern coasts. Maximum temperature 15 °C." ^ ^ Alternate plan for rain?...

Alternate plan for rain is we'll head down into South Kensington, past the Royal Albert Hall, and we can wander round the Science Museum, Natural History, or the V&A.
But bring umbrellas - and if it's just a shower we can wait it out. I've been looking at the specific London forecast, and it looks like most of the rain is actually gonna be further west than us.
It looks like the morning will be fine, a heavy band of rain moving in in the afternoon, followed by clear skies in the evening. As inconvenient for skating as it could be!! So we'll skate in the morning, then head off in the afternoon.

;D Alrighty then, I shall pass that information on to mother dearest (-__-'') later- but...hate to be annoying, but I KNOW she'll ask for it; specific times? And where're we gonna be meeting up?
(Again, sorry to be annoying. ><)

OK. Meet at about 11.15 at the spot marked "D" on that map of Hyde Park... I've got pink (well, peachy washing-out pink) hair, and a Starlight Express umbrella!
It's a magic umbrella. Seriously. If I take it out, in case of rain, it NEVER rains. If it's already raining when I leave home with it, it'll dry up in 5 - 10 minutes....

Ahhh, that would explain all them bowler hats... (mum and I saw about three more on our way back to the tube. ) Despite getting completely soaked (my shoes are STILL a bit soggy! That said, they weren't the best things to have worn, I know...surprisingly comfy, tho. ), I had fun! Although, it'd be nice to go again without getting pissed on by the weather. (I should have some skates by then, too! ;D ) Right, school now. Yes. ><
