Um...given the recent crappiness of the weather and the fact that Sunday's forecast ain't looking so great, what're the chances that this'll still go ahead? (Mumsie has issued me with the warning that if it rains, we're not going. -__- Reasonable enough, I suppose, but meh! ><)

We were worried about that, too...we were going to go anyway, but skating won't be much fun if it rains like it has done today (ie, lots)...

The weather over the past few days has been BEAUTIFULLY bright sunny mornings, clouding over late morning, with showers in the aftenoon and the heavens opening later on.
If this continues on sunday, we'll be just fine for skating and picnicing late morning/early afternoon, as long as we start heading home mid-afternoon. Which, conveniently enough, seems to fit with our plans for the day.... But that's trying to rely on British Weather.

Well, that suits us, seeing as we'll have to leave mid-afternoon anyway, so lets hope the British weather can hold itself together for another two days!

Ceri, what time are you going to get to London? We're all coming from different directions, so meeting up is gonna be interesting!

Uhh...my friend's organising train times etc. and I have yet to phone her for details, but I think we're aiming to get there around 10ish...
Is there some kind of central point in the Park that's suitable for meeting people? I've never been there before...maybe if we designate some place to meet we can find one another that way...

10am? yeesh, you morning people!! www.citiskate.co.uk/skatersmap.htmHere's a handy Skate-friendly map of the park! Now, the designations on here are all unofficial as far as the park is concerned! Wrench has suggested that rather than our usual spot, by the "L" in the bottom right-hand corner, we go further along into the park. I suggest, for maximum entertainment value, assuming anyone skates with the weather - we meet up at the labelled "Dance" spot? I can get there for 11... I can't deal with sunday mornings earlier than that!

I'm not much of a morning person either, but we wanted to get there early because we didn't know when we'd need to be back...only problem is, we'll need to set off at around 8ish...and my friend seems keen on skating to the station... *faints*
*browses map* That sounds like a good idea! We'll be there at 11, if not before, providing we don't get lost! ^.^

...okay, the chances of me actually turning up at the moment are very slim. And I mean skeletal.
Because my mother is an akward so and so (and has already admitted to not really wanting to come in the first place- she's the one who insists I'm not allowed to travel by myself, not me. Sucks to be 15, eh?), she's now decided that unless there's a definite alternate plan in the case of rain, we ain't going. (Belle, even what you suggested earlier didn't sit with her.)
So please, help me!!
