Well from searching, prices seem to go from £30-50 ish then leap up to the £100s...I'm more inclined to stay under/around £50...

I suppose Ebay's too unreliable to be an option..?

No, not really...I haven't approached Ebay yet because I've never used it before and I don't trust myself to tell the difference between decent and crappy skates, which is why I thought it would be safer to search actual sites for decent makes before going for cheaper options

Indeed. It is hard to tell. I wonder, maybe the magazine I got thrust into my hands a few weeks back might be helpful... it's was stuffed with ads for skate supplies. Not sure I saw nice boots in there, but I'll have a look for it.

Oooooh...reminds me of the Street Gliders they sell in Woolworths, I keep playing with them when I'm at work ;D
The Soverign skates I was looking at are just underneath the pretty light-up ones...same price as I've seen them elsewhere, I think...

WRENCH! I've *JUST* bought you two sets of new wheels!!! You ungrateful wench... Apparently, black wheels are harder and harder to come by. So, I'm thinking I'm gonna look into getting pink sparkly wheels to coordinate with the Pearl costume, blue for Dinah, etc... and toestops too.

Well, I can get my new skates ordered tonight, if I decide which ones to go for before then...What do we say to the Soveriegns? Can anyone advise me whether I should go with them or not?
