Hey Jer, I dug out my blades and found out that they're Scorpions. Know anything about the brand?

ok, I'm curious about the DW-40 that's been mentioned throughout this whole thread. can it be used as a lubricant for the ball bearings or is there something else that's better? I'm asking cos my wheels are beginning to make a rasping sound when i spin them, which i know isn't right.
and can someone explain how i need to go about with getting the lubricant into the wheels to the bearing?

Spray it really close and keep your eyes shut? Getting WD-40 in your eyes stings like a bitch. And it doesn't clear for AGES.

That definitely sound like someone talking from experience... WD-40 worked for me when I was trying to get my old inlines to work...Well, it didn't save the inlines, they were beyond repair, but it certainly improved them

Yeah, when I was at school my locker was by the doors to the maths block, so I spent a lot of time listening to the hinges screeching back and forth. Eventually I got fed up with it, and took in a can of WD-40. Three hinges went fine, but the last one I mistook a screw-head for a much deeper hole and it all rebounded back into my face.
But the doors stopped squeaking.

Ooooh, that sounds nasty... But I'll be sure to keep the WD-40 handy next time anything starts squeaking

THoe the 80's predicted the sport would be age long and last well into the 21st century and even become a space age novelty, the sport has been dominated by more modern forms of mass humacidal suicidal activity...such as powerisers, wheel shoes, and skate borads, fun slides, moon shoes, and pogo stancerdisers. Hope this doesn't count as necroposting... << >>
Right, I'm trying to get hold of some new quads, preferably in time for Bochum, and in searching for something leather and not too high in price I keep coming across the Soverign skates. I read back but no one's mentioned them so far...Does anyone know if this is a good make to go with? I'm trying very hard not to slip out of price range, but I don't wanna go for anything that's not going to last me or that won't be much better than the Phoenix Quads I'm on at the moment.
Any ideas? ;D
