Is anyone else keeping track of the greatest dog show ever? And if so, what do people think so far? I was meant to be seeing it yesterday, actually going up to Birmingham, but I was too ill! Next year! xxxKatyxxx

That sucks, that you didn't get to see it!! I watched part of it last year, I think, on TV, and it was awesome I'll have to see if I can catch some of it this year too!

It's lovely to watch! All those busy, happy doggies... I love other people's dogs, but don't really want one of my own, I'm a cat person. But seeing the beautiful, HAPPY animals is lovely!

hehe It was a Tibetan Terrier, Fabulous Willy. The reserve was a Wire Fox Terrier, pet name Peggy. I personally think the bloodhound, Bertha shoulda won, she was a darling, what do other people think? xxxKatyxxx EDIT: Mary Ray with Foxy & Levi (sp?) doing the Heelwork to music were FANTASTIC! That along with Agility, Obedience & Flyball are the best ways to exercise & train a Border Collie, working or pet! ;D

^ ^ That's the one I was on about. Seriously impressive stuff going on there!!! My favourite was the Tibetan Terrier, although the husky was gorgeous, and I quite liked the white fluffy toy-dog on the far right, I don't know the breed...you know, the one that looks like a silk pillow with legs

I was so happy that Fabulous Willy won, he's such a cutie! Mum and I both fell in love with him as soon as we saw him, although I also adored the other ones, particularly the Toy Dogs winner. And I loved the heelwork! I think I should try getting tickets for it next time, this is the first time I've seen it and I loved it!

;D Glad you enjoyed it on seeing it for the first time Tantopat, it really is a great show! My mum has said she'll take me next year. The Toy Dog winner was a Maltese, pet name Marc...I must admit, I'm not a fan of little dogs but the Maltese was adorable, though my fav was still the Bloodhound. Y'know, now that I think about it the Maltese DID look a bit like a pillow on legs...crossed with a ball of fluff! ;D
