Hey, guys. I would happily post this actual story link, but Pearl's Domain won't let me, but -- www.beeptwo.com/pearls/mainframe.html -- go to the fanfic section and look at Drakelah's story, "Fatherhood". Now, look at this -- www.fanfiction.net/s/9523800/1/fatherhoodI am fairly certain that this person isn't Drakelah. For one, the story on FFN ends in a sentence fragment while the one on Pearl's Domain is completed. Two, the FFN user has two stories -- and they are both exactly this text (including the sentence fragment). Now, at first, I thought "Hey, maybe Drakelah is using a different username on FFN." So, I told the FFN user that I enjoyed Drakelah's other story, "Aggregates Are Really Great" -- and the FFN user had no idea what I was talking about. So, first things first, has anyone had any recent contact with Drakelah to let her/him know about this? If not, then I hope that we, as a fandom, can all take a few minutes to hit Actions > Report Abuse and get the FFN story taken down. Remember, it might be your creative work that could be stolen someday.

Ugh, I don't know if there's much we can do tho, beyond what you suggest, I can't remember who Drakelah is, and Pearl last updated 12 years ago!
I'm not even totally sure that ff.net account is even a person, not a bot? it seems so random!
I've also been ranting this week about my photos being stolen. If you want to use photos from my site, there is only one condition. Do not crop off my tag. Use them wherever you want, you don't need to ask me, you don't need to link back to me, you just need to NOT edit my tag off. But it seems this is too much to ask people.

I am fairly certain they are real since the person keeps bugging me to let them adopt my StEx fanfic, hence how I even found their account -- and I really hope they don't take it in their head to copy and paste my work while they're at it. Even if 5 of us report the story, it'll be dealt with a lot quicker than if just one did.
In any case, we can all look out for each other and let someone know if their work (or our work) has been stolen, and we can report abuses as a group and get the attentions of site owners.
