Anything else a first-timer needs to know? Replies would be greatly appreciated!

You bet! I absolutely love it here. It's one of my favorite cities in the world.
The only that's upset me is that Sir Nigel Gresley was at the station the other day, while I was out shopping, before leaving for Bescot. Sadly I didn't make it down there in time so see him... I was so close!

But I did go the railway museum again, where I spent like two days running about like a madman, squealing and taking pictures. ;D Aaaand I've been to a couple of the ghost walks, another one of my favorite things here, and earlier today I was at the Castle Museum, where I also squealed a lot and ran about like crazy. The Victorian street there was sooo cool, and I got to see the cell where Dick Turpin sat...Eeeee! Lol, yes, I'm easily excited when it comes to trains and the Victorian era.

Speaking of which, I recommend everyone who's going to York to stop by Past Images. I had a picture taken of me in this gorgeous Victorian dress, on a railway station background (yes, aren't we all surprised?) which I'm so happy with.

So, there you have a short squeal update on how the last week's been for me. XD
