To me, I have nothing against voting for an African American. What I am against is voting for an African American simply because of skin color. I'd vote for C. Rice in a heartbeat if she ran, and she's black AND a woman. I'd have both Obama and Hillary beat! lol.

It's just that I think, at this point, pulling our troops out now when the job is only half finished is the coward's way out. And apparently, Obama is willing to do exactly as the terrorists want (which is who we're fighting), and not what the people living there actually want (we've built schools, hospitals, publican buildings, made it so almost everyone could have cell phones, etc.. I could go on).

I have other complains about Obama as well, but I've already mentioned some of them. Everyone is so worried about the economy, which is in a recession (which, if anyone does acy actual research on it, will know that recessions are a natural part of a flowing economy...). The economy will straighten itself out - it always has. People don't need to treat it like it's the next Ice Age. There are more important matters, and I'm absolutely dreading the next four years with this guy.

The iraqui people Dont want you there you cause more problems than you solve , but as usual you did want suited the US not iraq
Obama wats to bring the troops home as soon as possible , this isnt playong in to anyones hands and allows Iraq to make its own decisions on how to deal with terroists in its country .
Bush just used force with little thought of the consequences all its doung is crearing a breeding ground for extremism .

I hate sinking to the same level, but compose a grammatically correct sentence before calling someone else any names.

And yes, a recession IS normal, believe it or not. It's been happening, what is it, once every four years? A *depression* is something to worry about, and no one has said anything about that happening yet. So people who freak about about what's going on are, frankly, just blowing smoke up everyone else's asses. We don't need that.

About socialism - are you honestly so condescending that you assume no one else knows what Socialism is? Obama wants to take my money and give it to people who either simply don't make as much, or are too lazy to actually join the rest of the work force. I have to take care of myself. Obama is so eager to hand MY money over, yet I have yet to see a check from him. Funny how that works. He also wants the fed. government to handle life's every little problem, instead of states or, better yet, individual families.

Hi Memphs....... fancy seeing you here!...And being the voice of reason....damn you! I so wanted to tear our young FOX puppet from the Ministry of Misinformation apart but now I have to keep it all in.

Just a few points though.

Obama like the VAST majority of Americans doesn`t support abortion. He stated that very clearly in the debates and won approval from Rebublicans for saying it. He supports a womans choice to decide what to do with her own body including birth control. Speaking as a Father of 3 including one who I don`t have access to, but as a couple at the time, we decided not to terminate, I would rather hold in contempt the leaders who would send my children to die for NOTHING, than judge anyone who has an abortion.

He`s never said about pulling troops out straight away. He`s always advocated a phased withdrawal over time. OOPS.......you mean like Bush and the Iraqi Government have just agreed to do? Surely not.....that would be cowardice and leaving the job half done. Which job would that be? Oh yes..getting a political solution arrived at by....the Iraqi Government. You mean like the one just agreed with the BUSH Admin? Eff me this is getting complicated....it`s almost like we had a plan all along. Shame that we had to allow the Bad Guys to practise on live targets instead of finishing them off in Afghanistan where they actually lived before heading to Iraqistan.

Sweetheart, you know as well as I do I love a good fight, I could see this one getting nasty for the sake of getting nasty. You have every right to give us your opinion as long as you accept that others have their own opinion too. Believe me, I have a few opinions of my own having heard half the US election from one side of the Atlantic and half from the other, best not get into those I think.

As long as the person can actually use his or her brains.

Can't remember which candidates said they were against abortion and which wanted to pull out the troops, but those are about the only positive things I've heard during the stupid election.

I think what the world really needs is a change of attitude. I would like to see a president who realizes that his precious America isn't perfect and they are actually a part of the world. I'm sick of American politicians who expect the rest of the world to go along with whatever they want, and I'm even sicker of politicians from the rest of the world doing what America wants simply because America wants it.
