It is requested that if you are going to post art that you keep them all in one thread so other forum members don't have to dig through numerous posts by the same person who has been on an art spree. So people know that you have posted new art please change the thread title (that is the one on the very first post) to " Name of thread ~ * updated 32nd Octember*" Obviously filling in the right details in the italics bit. Also be aware that some people have limits on their net time, please try and keep your pictures to a reasonable size so they download quickly. If they are big pictures post thumbnail and a link to your DeviantART/ photobucket/ what ever you use account so forum members can decide for themselves if the want to see the picture at full size. We had a post on here with 22 pictures in one post that took my computer 5 minutes to download, I dread to think how long it took people on dial up to get that page loaded. Thank you for your attention.

What counts as "Artwork"?
Or more importantly, what does NOT count as artwork is work that is not your own. Tracing someone else's picture, altering a few details and then passing it off as your own is NOT acceptable. Seeing someone's picture and exactly re-drawing the image is not acceptable. This is because it is STEALING someone's work. If someone else drew it, then it is not your art to display.
If you've drawn a picture and you had to copy one element, like the pose, or the feet, then tell us. While we have some professional artists here, most of us are amateurs who draw because we love it and want to improve our skills. Copying and using reference pics can be a very useful tool in the learning process, but you MUST be honest about anything that has been copied from another piece of art, otherwise it is stealing. References from photos do not need to be credited as you are not stealing someone's work, and they are usually quite obviously photo references.
Tracing is remarkably easy to spot, and if you don't want to be embarrassed, don't do it!
