It was my b-day yesterday!! I took 2 of my friends and my "special friend" Andrew (we're at the "waiting-for-parental-consent-so-we-can-actually-date" stage, so....) roller skating at this roller rink in Philadelphia. There weren't a whole lot of people there, and we had a blast. I requested Starlight Express at the DJ booth, and they didn't have it (I think every roller rink should probably have a copy of StEx, honestly!). But when my parents went to the DJ booth when I was in the bathroom and had him announce my birthday and play "We Will Rock You", it was all better. We have plenty of pictures of me dancing around on my toe stops and stuff. Lol. Okay, I just felt like.....announcing about that, I guess. And tomorrow, we get to run around in the rain at the park after church!! yesssssssssss......Okay, I'm done.

Happy Birthday yesterday!  Sounds like a blast... I wish there was a roller rink around here. ANYWHERE in london, but there isn't one. Only two ice rinks that I know of, as well... Anyway. Excellent fun skating. And good luck with the parental permission issue, too! |
