*giggles* I used to work in Woolies. I tried to get some singing going on there, as well as dancing - to be honest I tried to get people do anything that wasn't our job, including pointing behind the customers, shouting about some huge distraction, then ducking behind our tills for when they turned back - but they never bought it. For some reason. << >>

Awww, you'll have to find somewhere more fun to work! Or a job where you can hide in staff only areas and sing. Either works.

Thankfully I'm working at a theatre now in front of house. Much more excuse to sing and dance. ;D
Now I just need to learn to dance. xD

;D I've yet to get my magic card that gets me free tickets, and I don't think we get reduced merchandise, but I managed to get reductions on tickets for Stomp next week, and we get to watch almost all of any show we work on doors for anyway. Also we get free cinema tickets for next door. Yeah, I see benefits over Woolies.

Apparently they weren't meant to be giving staff free or discount tickets for Stomp anyway, but the woman at Box Office must have taken pity on me, because she put my friend and I through as disabled and companion. What I thought was gonna cost me at max £75 went down to £26! Can't wait to get my magic card, though.
Which theatre did/do you work at, Memphis?

The theatre which is the United Kingdom pavillion in Epcot, Walt Disney World. Everyone is a cast member making peoples' dreams come true and magic happen (yes, they really do pump that into your head : .... Oh and serving fish and chips and pints of beer. I miss it so much, I really do.

Disney World? In America? That does sounds pretty awesome. How come you stopped working there? EDIT: We totally deviated from the topic

There's only one Walt Disney World and that's in Florida! I had to stop working there as the programme you do to work in the World Showcase pavilions only gives you a year long visa (ok, technically 13 months, but the programme lasts 51 weeks.) It can be extended for upto 3 months, but that's it. I left on the last day of my visa so I couldn't have stayed longer if I tried With any luck I should be back working in or around Florida within the next couple of months, so I will be back in possession of a magic card ;D Oh, and no worries on the deviation from topic... we are in general discussion so anything (within reason) goes and I'm the mod with the lazer eyebeams and I'm not complaning, so I think we're good
