Alrighty then- a thread like this has most likely appeared before more than once, but it wouldn't hurt to start a new one, no?

So- here's my question to you; what do we all listen to, outside of musical soundtracks? ^__^

outside... musicals? I don't get it...

seriously, let's see... rather like The Darkness, Scissor Sisters, QUEEN! Terrafolk, I really like film soundtracks such as Kinky Boots, and 1960s pop.
Oh, and Bach! Unaccompanied cello suites and lute suites are my favourites, but you can't beat the Brandenberg concerti....

I also adore Evanescence.

I just sorta listen to whatever song I like. Doesn't matter who did it ;D

So mostly rock, pop or alternative.

There is no music worth listening to outside of musical theatre. ;D

Seriously, most of the stuff I listen to is musicals. Otherwise I like pop (yes, I am a Westlife fan) and very soft rock (e.g. Bon Jovi). I also like popular opera type stuff, like Josh Groban, Russell Watson and G4. I do find myself apologising for my musical tastes quite a lot. ;D

Anywho- I'm very fond of 80s bands/artists, like Gary Numan (no thanks to my mother ^__-), Kraftwerk, Bauhaus and The Cure. Also adore Scissor Sisters and The Darkness. ;D Ummm...who else...The Knife, The Eighties Matchbox B-Line Disaster, Basement Jaxx...

...as you can see, I could go on forever, but I shall shut up now as I've rambled far enough already. xD

My taste of music is a bit odd, meaning I like some kinds of music that are a rather unusual mixture:
Shania Twain (Country-Pop), Die Toten Hosen (a German punk rock band), film soundtracks (for example "The Lord of the Rings", "Pirates of the Caribbean", "Troy",...) and other bits and pieces of anything but techno and hip hop. ;D

So here´s my late reply for this thread.

There is this my favourite swedish glamrock-band called "The Ark". ;D They make great music and I´m fan since the eurovision song contest.

I like to listen to Fall Out Boy and Panic! at the disco. But I also like the Scissor sisters and..... *goes to watch her CDs* I love Linkin Park and the german Band Oomph!

Oh yes, also Christina Aguilera and P!nk and Cascada.

Sometimes I also listen to Rammstein or Metallica.... but Dido, too. It depends.

But I prefer Metal and Rock.

Oooo! I also love to listen to Manheim Steamroller from time to time. Especially their Christmas music.. I can listen to their Jingle Bells ANY time of the year ;D It's so beautiful... Their Halloween music is also really cool!

I do listen to a lot of Musical theatre.

But otherwise I like The Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Panic at the disco, 30 seconds to mars,Lost Prophets,Fall out boy,Basment Jaxx,QUEEN(they are the best ),Darkness........

I could go on and on and most have been mentioned before I listen to any music I have too say I do like westlife aswell!
