Really? If I puit Johnny Depp as anything in StEx it'd probably be Electra - the fiercely intense and deadly serious type, not the I'm so camp I'm so funny type!

Ooo, now I can see where you're coming from on that one. To be honest, I think he has the ability to carry off a good few of the roles... Except Greaseball or Rusty. When he was still in his Ichabod Crane/Edward Scissorhands phase he might have managed Rusty, but definitely not any more.

Johnny Depp as Electra! That would totally rock! I think he'd make a funny Caboose but he'd probably work better as Electra Then again, Johnny Depp on rollerskates alone would probably be worth watching Memphis: Right, I see what went on there now. Misread it I dunno, I've only really seen Emmy Rossum in Phantom, so I can't really judge

Oh, I think her Christine is plenty to judge. That sounded pretty decided Do you not like Emmy Rossum in Phantom?...

Can't stand her. As well as the whole only-having-one-facial-expression thing, she can't sing. And no-one bothered to give her the slightest bit of training before filming. You know how to sing the word 'Angel' if you have to draw out the second syllable? As written. Ayn-jel. How does she pronounce it? Ayn-jul. It's a whole lot of little things like that that just scream "I was in a children's choir once, but I didn't learn a damn thing!". And she has the gall to call herself a trained singer.
If they'd given her the same treatment Minnie Driver got - which worked fantastically - maybe she wouldn't be so offensive, but she didn't and she is.

Hehehe, that sounded pretty decisive I don't know, I never had a problem with her singing, besides the fact she and Raoul sound far too American for my liking...but I didn't realise she's never had vocal training. Which I suppose proves your point, if that's what she says.

Well she certainly doesn't sound like she's ever had any. And that is, y'know, the point.
