Since the whole world has been blown up we are all dead, so this must be a figment of our deranged imaginations

I never claim to be ok, ever. Back to the point in discussion however.
To quote a famous musical feturing a Rocky in tiny shorts:- "There are some people who say that life is an illusion, and that reality is simply a figment of our imaginations!"
To back that up, the Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy tells us:- "It is known that there are an infinite number of worlds, simply because there is an infinite amount of space for them. However, not every one of them is inhabited. Therefore, there must be a finite number of inhabited worlds. Any finite number divided by infinity is as near to nothing as makes no odds, so the average population of all the planets in the Universe can be said to be zero. From this it follows that the population of the whole Universe is also zero, and that any people you may meet from time to time are merely the products of a deranged imagination."
So we may not be dead, but we don't exist, therefore it's not an issue. That's all I need to know. It make everything seem so much more tolerable.

Everything's made up of particles anyway. If the particles in a table (for example) were *everso slightly* further apart, we'd fall through it. It's the fabric of the universe - one molecule changes, the other change, and we turn into the land of the Blue Meanies.
To quote a man in a knotted hankie... "My brain hurts..."

*winced, looked at Memphis, sighed, then bolted up the nearest crossbeam and stared down at them* ...sorry Memphis... i won't do that again.... an' i ain't commin down! *stares off into the distance, begins to hum "it's over now" by Tod Howarth. in the distance, tho, a thuder storm rumbles, but she don't seem to notice...*
